Regulations for Service Management of the Zebrafish Core Facility Platform

• 國立成功大學生物科技中心（下稱本中心）為提供校內外研究與教學所需且符合國際標準之斑馬魚飼育場所與基本實驗操作空間，特設立斑馬魚核心設施平台（下稱本平台），並訂定本辦法。
  To provide zebrafish housing and basic experimental operation space that meets international standards for research and teaching purposes both within and outside the University, the Center for Bioscience and Biotechnology of National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) has established the Zebrafish Core Facility Platform (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”) and formulated these Regulations.

 

• 本平台服務開放時段與預約方式：

         Service hours and reservation methods of the platform:

• 開放時段：正常上班日上午9時至下午5時。
  Service hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on regular business days.
• 預約方式：自行於本中心服務使用預約網頁線上申請。
  Reservation method: Users shall submit an online application through the Center’s service reservation webpage.

 

• 收費方式：

Fee structure:

• 服務項目與收費標準，請詳見「國立成功大學生物科技中心斑馬魚核心設施平台收費辦法」。
  For service items and fee standards, please refer to the “Fee Regulations of the Zebrafish Core Facility Platform, Center for Bioscience and Biotechnology, National Cheng Kung University.”
• 本中心於使用服務前五日通知繳納費用，並於使用日前繳納完成。
  The Center will notify users to make payment five days prior to the scheduled service date, and payment must be completed before the date of use.
• 使用人未於繳款期限內完成報帳作業流程，本中心得暫停使用人所屬實驗室之使用權限。
  If the user fails to complete the reimbursement procedure within the payment deadline, the Center reserves the right to suspend access to the Platform for the user’s affiliated laboratory.

 

• 服務使用注意事項：

Service usage guidelines:

• 使用人使用前，應自行準備實驗相關樣本，並諮詢平台管理人。
  Before using the service, users shall prepare relevant experimental samples in advance and consult with the platform manager.
• 使用人應於預定使用日五日前，於線上預約使用時段；因故不能使用時，應於預定使用日一日前，於線上取消預約。
  Users shall reserve their time slots online at least five days prior to the scheduled date of use. If unable to attend, the reservation must be canceled online at least one day before the scheduled date.
• 本平台每三個月會定期清空所有電腦原始檔案，使用人應自行備份。
  All original files on platform computers will be cleared every three months. Users are responsible for backing up their own data.
• 申請斑馬魚代養服務，須附動物實驗計畫書，標明使用斑馬魚品系與數量。
  Applications for zebrafish hosting services must be accompanied by an animal experiment protocol, specifying the zebrafish strains and quantities to be used.
• 斑馬魚代養服務，由本平台技術員負責。代養魚隻如有異常情形，本平台將連絡使用人。
  Zebrafish hosting services will be handled by platform technicians. If any abnormalities are observed in the hosted fish, the platform will contact the user.
• 擬操作動物實驗者，須先參加動物照護委員會(IACUC)動物福祉說明會及斑馬魚核心平台使用說明會，並測試合格。
  Individuals intending to conduct animal experiments must first attend the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) welfare seminar and the Zebrafish Core Facility usage briefing, and pass the required assessments.
• 本平台相關儀器之使用，須經上課訓練與實機認證通過後，始得預約。若經發現有違規使用情形，依本辦法第八點規定辦理。
  Use of related instruments on the platform requires completion of training and hands-on certification. Any violation of proper usage shall be handled in accordance with Article 8 of these Regulations.

 

• 本平台將不定期向使用人與實驗室，提供教育訓練課程。課程日期與地點等資訊，公告於本中心服務使用預約網頁。

The Platform will periodically offer training courses to users and laboratories. Information such as course dates and locations will be announced on the Center’s service reservation webpage.

• 使用違規事由如下：

The following actions are considered violations of service usage:

• 未事先預約使用時段而逕行擅自使用。
  Using the equipment without prior reservation.
• 預約時段未如期前來使用，且未提前取消預約。
  Failing to show up for a reserved time slot without canceling the reservation in advance.
• 未依正確方式使用或操作儀器。
  Improper use or operation of instruments.
• 未確實填寫使用登記表。
  Failure to accurately complete the usage log.
• 預約時段使用逾時，影響下一位使用人且未提前告知。
  Exceeding the reserved time slot without prior notice, causing delay to the next user.
• 報名平台說明會無故未到，或未事先通知技術員取消。
  Failing to attend the platform briefing session without valid reason or prior notice to the technician.
• 冒用他人名義進行預約或使用，或將個人帳號借予未測試合格者使用。
  Using another person’s name to make a reservation or access the service, or lending one’s account to individuals who have not passed the required certification.

 

• 使用人經發現有前點違規事由，依下列方式辦理：

If a user is found to have committed any of the above violations, the following actions shall be taken:

• 第一、二次違規，由本平台管理人向使用人確認違規事由後，以電子郵件方式通知所屬實驗室指導教師與使用人。
  For the first and second violations, the platform manager shall confirm the violation with the user and notify both the user and their supervising faculty member via email.
• 個別實驗室於半年內累計達三次違規者，經本中心行政會議確認後，以電子郵件方式通知指導教師，並停權所屬實驗室全體人員使用本平台服務一個月。
  If a single laboratory accumulates three violations within six months, the matter shall be confirmed by the Center’s Administrative Meeting. The supervising faculty member will be notified via email, and all members of the laboratory will be suspended from using the Platform’s services for one month.
• 若有特殊重大違規事項，經本中心行政會議確認，得直接停權並予以求償。
  In cases of serious or major violations, the Center’s Administrative Meeting may impose an immediate suspension and seek compensation.
• 若因人為操作不當或刻意破壞而造成儀器損壞時，使用人所屬實驗室應賠償維修相關費用。
  If any instrument is damaged due to improper operation or intentional destruction, the user’s laboratory shall be held responsible for the cost of repairs.

 

• 本辦法經本中心行政會議審議通過後實施，修正時亦同。

These Regulations are to be enforced following approval through the administrative meeting; the same shall apply to their revisions.
